Dr. İsmail Yüksel graduated from Ankara Atatürk Anadolu High School in 2002. Having completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Law in 2007, Dr. Yüksel received a master's degree in "Law and Informatics" from Stockholm University in 2009 and a master's degree in "Constitutional Law" from Ankara University in 2012. He received his doctorate in "Constitutional Law" from Bilkent University in 2018.

Dr. Yüksel worked as a research assistant at Başkent University Faculty of Law between 2009-2013, and at Akdeniz University Faculty of Law between 2013-2018, following his doctorate Dr. Yüksel taught at Başkent University Faculty of Law between 2018 and 2020, and at Antalya Bilim University Faculty of Law between 2020 and 2023. 

Currently Dr. Yüksel runs his own law firm in Antalya, mainly working in Criminal Law and Health Law fields.

Dr. Yuksel also still continues to teach at METU, TED University and Antalya Bilim University.
